YOUNG VICTORY
Our goal is to develop young people into responsible participants in the life, work, and the mission of God’s will. We do this by way of cultivating programs and events that focus on their needs within a balanced Bible-centered atmosphere.
Bible Study
Each Tuesday at F.E.N. our youth Bible studies build a firm foundation for their faith, encourages them to hide God’s Word in their heart and apply the truths of Scripture to their daily lives.
During Bible study we discover the Bible’s response & answers to questions like…
- “What does it mean to be saved?”
- “How does God want me to live my life?”
- “What is God’s purpose for my life?”
1st & 10
1st and 10 is a five-week spiritual journey towards a personal relationship and home Bible study with Christ. Youth are asked to commit the first part of their day in dedicating 10 minutes communing and sharing with God.
1st: Begin to thank God. Ask Him to forgive you for your negative thoughts and actions….start off with a clean slate!
2nd: Take a moment of silence and write down the things that are in your heart for that day. (S.O.A.P.)
3rd: Pray about those things that you have written down.
4th: Praise Him – that’s not hard…it’s merely thanking Him in advance for answering your prayers.
5th: Worship Him, which is to tell Him what He means to you, His value in your life!
Discipleship through Leadership (DTL)
Our Leadership Development program encourages youth in Jr/Sr High School to positively represent their talents as they discover who they are in Christ. The program features monthly educational sessions, community service projects and concludes with a Recognition Celebration Ball.
DTL has been developed as an answer to the question… Who Am I?
Simply put, “You Are Who God Says You Are.” We focus on developing our youth: physically, mentally, socially and spiritually in Christ.
